Tyia Wilson

Tyia Wilson is an extraordinary talent; the type of talent you don’t expect to find outside of New York City, Los Angeles or the other big metropolises. In her youth, Tyia worked closely with David Foster to create a demo track for Cher and added several vocals to the movie soundtrack, “Message in a Bottle.” She made an R & B demo with Chico Bennett and appeared on Star Search. Tyia also sang the National Anthem at many different arenas and for many different teams in Southern California: for the Los Angeles Lakers, the Los Angeles Clippers, the UCLA Bruins (Tyia’s alma mater) and countless CIF championship games.

Tyia left Los Angeles for the dynamic music scene in Las Vegas, where she performed at Caesars Palace, The Mirage and Wynn Las Vegas. She covered many genres, ranging from contemporary pop and rock, to 70s funk, jazz and even a handful of Broadway tunes personally requested by Wynn Las Vegas Chairman Stephen Wynn. Tyia also writes and sings her own music. Currently, she is drawing upon the energy and spirituality of yoga, quigong and chanting to infuse her music with a completely new vibe.
